Reminder: Closing BackerKit and Getting Shipping Right the First Time

Hey, all you wonderful backers!
Here’s a reminder that we are closing the Anime 5E BackerKit. Originally, we gave a deadline of today (Feb 21st), but since it’s a holiday in both the US and much of Canada, we are extending the cutoff until 6pm EST on Tuesday, Feb 22nd.
If you don’t complete the survey by this deadline, delivery of your physical pledge rewards will be delayed! So don't wait – complete your survey immediately, if you haven't already. Of course, most of you have done so, but there’s still some stragglers that won’t be receiving their products on time.
If there are no unexpected delays, we are still expecting shipments to occur over a several week period in late-March and into mid-April. We will provide further updates when we have them.

Avoid DOUBLE SHIPPING Fees!
We want to make it as easy as possible for you to receive Anime 5E when it’s ready to fulfil. Everyone who pledged for a physical product paid a shipping fee through BackerKit, which will be applied to one shipment attempt. If your pledge shipment is not accepted for delivery or returned to the warehouse for any reason (other than our own fault, of course), you will need to pay the shipping fee again to receive your physical pledge.
Below are a few reasons your shipment may not be successful. What steps can you take to assure they don’t apply to your shipment?
➡️ Address that you provided to us through BackerKit is incorrect.
➡️ You live in a shared building that refuses or returns the package.
➡️ Someone living at your provided address refuses or returns the package.
➡️ Your package is held at a facility for you to pick up, and the facility returns it to the warehouse because you didn’t pick it up during their specified time.
➡️ Your delivery person drops it off at the incorrect address and that resident living there refuses the package.
If your pledge isn’t delivered because we made a mistake, naturally we will reship it to you at our cost. For all other reasons out of our direct control, a second shipping charge may apply if we need to ship to you a second time.
Reminder: Updating Your Address
If you moved to a different location between the time you completed your BackerKit survey and now, and you haven’t already updated your shipping address with us, you can email us at [email protected] with your new address. Please don’t email us just to check your address if you haven’t moved! With over 8,000 backers, we don’t have the resources to double check that you’ve entered your address correctly the first time.

Mid-February Shipping Update
Things have been progressing smoothly recently, and the first half of the Anime 5E freight has arrived in our US warehouse! Here’s some other tentative dates we can share:
First half freight arrival in Australia – Feb 18th
First half freight arrival in Europe – Feb 18th
Final freight arrival in Australia – Feb 25rd
Final freight arrival in Europe – Mar 4th
Final freight arrival in US – Mar 14th
All freight arrival in Canada – Mar 25th
Closing BackerKit
Since all product will be in warehouses within the next month or so, it’s time for us wrap up the BackerKit survey. Here’s what you need to know:
FEBRUARY 21st is your cut-off date to complete your BackerKit survey. If you don’t complete the survey by this time, delivery of your physical pledge rewards will be delayed! Less than a week ago, we launched of our newest Kickstarter for the superhero RPG, Absolute Power – the second edition of 2002's acclaimed Silver Age Sentinels RPG. Backers have already blown past the funding target (95 minutes!) and we are deep into the stretch goals now.
This is the most aggressive product launch in our company's history, with a core book so large that we couldn't fit its nearly half-million words into a single volume! It’s not a 5E-compatible game, but we think it’s an outstanding addition to the superhero role-playing field.
In addition to the two-volume, combined 672-page core rules, the Kickstarter campaign offers a great selection of expansions and accessories, including a game screen and adventure, character folio, custom dice set, Tri-Stat System Core RPG rules companion, and more. If you’re a superhero gamer, you certainly don't want to miss this one!
Shipping Progress and Anime 5E Community Content

Happy Groundhog Day to all our awesome backers! Today, we have a few minor shipping updates for physical rewards and details on a new Anime 5E community content programme.
US Freight Status
As you know, our immense amount of Anime 5E cargo was split into two shipments from our factories in China. We’ve been told that the first half is arriving in our Indiana warehouse by Feb 14th! The ocean liner carrying the second half is due into Vancouver on March 4th. With expected landing/customs/trucking times, it should arrive in our warehouse a few weeks afterwards.
If there are no other unexpected freight issues, we expect fulfilment of physical rewards to US customers to take place throughout the month of April. It will take several weeks to complete fulfilment of thousands of orders. Due to the mix of products, we can’t begin fulfilment until both halves of our freight shipments are in the warehouse.
International Freight Status
Canadian and Mexican orders are dependent on timing of US delivery. We expect fulfilment of these orders in April. European and Australian orders should be shipping in April as well (cargo is still in transit to those warehouses), with other international orders processed roughly the same time.
Emporium: Anime 5E Community Content
In August 2019, we launched the Tri-Stat Emporium community content programme on DriveThruRPG, where BESM fans could create and sell their own BESM and Tri-Stat content.
We are thrilled to announce our recent expansion of the programme also includes the Anime 5E RPG system! With the new Anime 5E and Tri-Stat Emporium, you can write adventures, character/weapon/animal compilations, alternate game rules, fiction, world books, new setting/genre materials, enhanced, character sheets, artwork — just about anything you want! You set the sales price for your content (or give it away for free) and DriveThru pays you 50% of that price for every sale made on their site. It’s that easy!
If you're looking to create a game or expansion, or simply looking to download some third-party content for your Tri-Stat or Anime 5E game adventures, pop by the Anime 5E and Tri-Stat Emporium and take a look. There are even layout templates and art pack downloads to help support the creation of your content. In the coming months (likely Mach or April), we’ll release an Anime 5E system reference document (SRD) to help make releasing your own content even easier.

If your Kickstarter email is the same as your DriveThru account email, the download links are likely conveniently waiting in your DriveThru inbox. Shipping Update Plus Anime 5E PDF Now Widely Available

Hey, everyone. A couple of quick updates today.
First, some shipping news. The first cargo vessel has arrived in the Vancouver, Canada area with half the Anime 5E products (see image above). If everything goes well, it should spend a couple of weeks clearing customs and driving to our US warehouse before it’s ready for Kickstarter fulfilment. Of course, we still need the other half of the Anime 5E products as well (which has already left the factory), but this is some great progress after a long delay waiting to book cargo space on an ocean vessel.
Anime 5E PDFs Now on DriveThruRPG
Since we now have confidence that Kickstarter fulfilment isn’t too far away, we have released the Anime 5E RPG and expansions for immediate sale on DriveThruRPG. As our awesome Kickstarter backers, you’ve enjoyed eight months of exclusive access to the game – and we though it was time to let others join the party, too.
